Cross Video Days 2016

March 9, 2016
Picture

Cross Video Days is back with a 3-day event focused on digital media including video games, transmedia cinema, virtual reality, and web series. The idea of the event is to seek out web series projects looking for co-financing and co-production support. According to a press release from the Cross Video Days, on June 10 the event will grant selected producers 30-minute meetings with leading digital commissioners. This includes opportunities for TV, web broadcasters, MCN, and funding bodies.
Cross Video Days 2016 also has a special partnership with
Le Marché du Film of Cannes.

In short the event looks to give web series unique opportunities in Europe whether that be a distributor, funding, or production value. If a creator’s project is chosen they are invited to attend the event in Paris in June. Cross Video Days is in its 7th year, and seeks web series in both the fiction and non-fiction genres.

Those looking to submit their series can go so for free on the Cross Video Days website.

Those looking for an excuse to write off a trip to Paris on their taxes should give this a look.
