Ruby Skye P.I. - Episode 10

September 14, 2014
Picture
Episode 10 brings all of our storylines and characters together, even Edmund, who seemed rather absent for the majority of the season. Kat’s story even had great significance; she helped Ruby solve the last piece of the puzzle. Every character is useful, and it’s great when that happens because it makes the story more satisfying for the audience.

Now FONK, according to Diana, is a fake charity. Meaning that Cumberbund and his female accomplice can be charged with fraud, as well as robbery. These bad guys are incredibly bad! Kidnapping dogs along with stealing toys from kids, makes you think about how charities conduct their business. Of course not all charities are bad, but it’s hard to say how much of the money or other donations actually get to the people that need them. It’s interesting to see that Diana was on top of this.

Diana and Hailey touch on some serious girl power in this episode. Although Diana is entirely absent, she’s referred to, and she’s works from the inside of FONK to prove the fraud. Ruby also obviously underestimates Hailey, but Hailey is a great sister in talking out Ruby’s problems. She’s a smart one that girl, but I wish we saw more of her over the season. If anything this tells us how the show is from Ruby’s point of view.

Now the flash mob sequence is fantastic. I don’t want to give too much away here so I’ll just say the people behind Ruby Skye P.I. did a great job filming it. Doesn’t it just make you want to get up and dance?

There’s lots of questions coming up about Cumberbund, mainly that who is his buyer? The person who buys stolen toys like Flobbles isn’t someone I want to mess with.
